Using mechanized cutting and trimming equipment, Solar Clean is the first step in any vegetation management process - bringing the plants to a level where they cannot create and maintain shade over the solar panels.

Situations like the one illustrated in the image below are not encountered regularly, but they can occur when the owner neglects his solar panel park.

Vegetation must be cared for constantly, sometimes even twice a year to prevent the decrease in energy production.

The second step in vegetation management is the seeding of short grass

Solar Clean can seed different types of grass under or around solar installations.

As long as the grass does not grow above the level of the modules, there is no danger to the installations. In addition, the presence of grass under the modules improves the cooling process and increases their long-term efficiency. Their presence prevents the soil from radiating heat to the modules, helps maintain moisture in the soil and prevents erosion. If the soil is devoid of vegetation, the dust can easily rise and settle on the solar panels.

As long as the grass never needs mowing, the risk of the mower throwing debris in the direction of the panels is minimal. The initial cost of seeding the soil is relatively low compared to other vegetation removal methods and the maintenance cost is greatly reduced.

The grass is an effective protection against the high costs and risks of the mowing process or the use of chemicals.
